How do I find eBooks on my topic?

The library has thousands of ebooks, and there are many ways to search for them.

Each of the search tools below may return different results. You can try more than one method or choose the tool that you most prefer. 

QUICKsearch

1. On the OCLS homepage scroll down to the Start Searching Here area.
2. Enter your keywords or topic in the search box and click Search. 
3. On the left side of the page under Limit To, check the box for Ebooks Only.
4. If you have thousands of results, you may want to add more keywords to your search. 
5. Use the Publication Date boxes to limit books published in certain years. 

Ebook Central

1. On the OCLS homepage scroll down to the Find Your Book area.
2. Click on Ebook Central.
3. Enter your keywords or topic in the search box and click Search. 
4. If you have thousands of results, you may want to limit your search by limiting to year published, subject, and language on the left side of the page.

EBSCO eBooks

1. On the OCLS homepage scroll down to the Find Your Book area.
2. Click on EBSCO eBooks. 
3. Enter your keywords or topic in the search box and click Search. 
4. On the left side of the page under Limit To, check the box for Full Text.
5. If you have thousands of results, you may want to add more keywords to your search. 
6. Use the Publication Date boxes to limit books published in certain years.
